And we’re back!! Needed a small break from Daily Fantasy Sports, and it’s pretty hard to beat wakeboarding and Havasu! Missed out on most of the Daily Fantasy action yesterday, between coming back from the River, watching the tail end of the Masters, and the whole Easter shenanigans.
I did happen to catch a replay of the Melo studly performance yesterday, so he’s getting the front billing. Pretty much single-handed won that game yesterday for the NYK… well that and a serious choke job by Derrick Rose.
We’ve only got a couple more weeks of the regular season before we move onto the Playoffs, so if you want to get your Daily Fantasy Sports NBA fix there is no time like the present. Check out FanDuel, they’re so far ahead of everybody else in the industry in terms of the quality of their product, and some of their baseball promo’s for this season are insane.
We have 10 games for a surprisingly busy NBA Monday tonight, so make sure to check back in here around 3pm EST for our rankings/projections for tonight’s games.
Daily Fantasy Sports Studs
- Carmelo Anthony: Melo was the top scorer in Daily Fantasy Sports yesterday, by a good margin… ALMOST 20 FREAKIN POINTS!!! Helps obviously to go into overtime, but regardless his 43 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block were impressive.
- Gerald Green: Having seen Gerald Green play several times this season, it’s unreal to me that this was a guy bouncing around the D-League earlier this year. Explosive athletic wing players aren’t supposed to have a problem finding a job in the NBA, especially ones with his shooting touch. I thought at 1st it might just be a flash in the pan thing, but he’s averaging 15 ppg, 4.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists in only 27 mins/gm. Last night he lit it up for 32 points with 4 boards and 1 assist.
Daily Fantasy Sports Duds
- Paul Millsap: One of our favorite players here at Daily Fantasy Rankings, Millsap had a night he’d just as soon forget last night. He only managed 21 minutes, and 2 points, as he was held to 3 points total on FanDuel. He’s a super productive player, so it’s nothing to be worried about, and hopefully you avoided him due to an ugly matchup with the Spurs… if not, I expect you were in full rage mode yesterday.
- Tyreke Evans: While the Kings as a whole seem to be playing better under Keith Smart(Or at least not trying to publicly sabotage their coach like the did earlier in the season), Tyreke has regressed completely. He seems to have no idea how to fit into the new Kings offense, and is putting up his worst numbers of his career. Last night he barely managed to score 6 points and only managed 22 minutes, in other words stay the hell away from Tyreke in DFS.
Daily Fantasy Sports News
I’m hoping to have our Baseball portions of our site up and running by the end of this week, or at least the rankings portion and then hopefully from there we can follow up with some good content on Daily Fantasy Sports strategy. If you have any suggestions, or would like to see a new feature please let us know. Also we’ll be putting up a subscribers only section for people that sign up through our links and deposit, that will have another level of analysis as well as optimal lineups for FanDuel and DraftStreet to start and slowly adding other sites.
Just looking at the schedule we only have 10-11 more games on the NBA schedule before the playoffs start, so after that we’ll be 100% onto baseball. The NBA playoff schedule is unlikely to have many nights with more then 4 teams playing a night(Some of you may enjoy those nights, but I think they’re a waste of money and just grinding rake, so we advise avoiding them) so it should free up some time to pound out some really cool baseball tools.
