Last night was a scoring frenzy in Daily Fantasy Sports. We had 9 players go over 40 fantasy points, and 2 that topped 50. And although Andrew Bynum was the 2nd overall leading scorer on the night, he was by far the most impressive. He pulled in 30 freakin rebounds vs a Spurs frontline that is one of the better in the league.

Bynum put up 16 points, with 30 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks and pretty much single handedly out rebounded the entire Spurts team 30 to 33. No surprise that the Lakers dominated the Spurs even without Kobe Bryant. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for the Lakers on how dominant Bynum can be when he gets to be the focus of their offense down low.

Daily Fantasy Sports Studs

  • Daily Fantasy Sports StudsChris Paul: Weird night for Paul, who took over the scoring role in the Clippers offense and only managed to have 4 assists. He more then made up for the lack of assists with 31 points to go along with his 4 assists and 6 rebounds and 2 steals. He was our 4th leading scorer overall on FanDuel.
  • Gordon Hayward: Hayward has been a super solid starter since taking over for Josh Howard, but last night he showed some of the College scorer he was. He put up 29 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals for 39 points on FanDuel. The Jazz have been a surprisingly tough team to play down the stretch and Hayward has been a big part of this.

Daily Fantasy Sports Dud

  • Devin Harris: Coming of a string of 3 straight games where he put up monster numbers, Harris was in a lot of lineups last night. He managed to show why his salary is priced where it is, only putting up 10 points on FanDuel, and only played 21 minutes vs the Rockets. In foul trouble most of the night, he only managed to get 6 points and 5 assists.
  • Demarcus Cousins: Cousins had to be the biggest disappointment of the night however. A threat to go for 50 fantasy points in any night, he only managed to score 17 last night on FanDuel. The trainwreck that is the Kings was in force last night, as Cousins decided to pull his Andrew Bynum impression and shoot outside fadeaways and play like a primadonna. He was benched with only 20 minutes total playing time.

Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Stats Dump 4-15Other than the Lakers game yesterday, I sweated zero NBA Daily Fantasy Sports action, so I’m not even going to attempt a write-up. Spent most of my day cursing the crappy team I threw together for DraftDay’s Moneyball contest, and ...
