All I have to say about Daily Fantasy Sports last night was thank god all of my Value plays payed off in spades. Like we said yesterday it was actually a pretty tough day to throw together a successful lineup, but if you used our value picks you definitely had a better shot. Unfortunately it would have been better for me had Kobe managed to not miss a gazillion shots last night, or Brandon Bass hadn’t injured himself… but it was still a winning night so hard to complain.
*Like most people in Daily Fantasy Sports today I’ll be working on lineups/matchups for DraftDay’s big contests today so this is going to be short and sweet. Look forward to a big article around 3pm EST with our daily rankings and who we like as value picks/studs and who to avoid tonight.
Daily Fantasy Sports Studs
Like we pointed out yesterday the DET/LAL matchup inside was really juicy. Nobody complained at Pau’s 39 fantasy points at FanDuel, but Bynum put up a huge night last night. He was our overall Daily Fantasy Sports leading scorer last night on all sites with 30 points and 14 rebounds.
Bismack Biyombo and Corey Maggette were our 5th and 6th place scorers last night, so like we said if you ran with our value picks you definitely had a good night last night. Well as long as you also followed our advice to avoid LBJ and Dwyane Wade.
Daily Fantasy Sports Duds
Brandon Knight probably leads this list for me personally, playing in an absolutely great matchup vs the horrible PG defense of the Lakers Knight managed to only put up 4 fantasy points. After putting up close to 20 fantasy points his previous 3 contests he managed to vanish from this one.
Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, LBJ, and Dwyane would are all players who drastically underperformed in comparison to their salaries. Luckily if you followed our advice yesterday you dodged some of these bullets. The Kobe pick I’ll still stand by however, unfortunately he had an awful night last night, but it had more to do with him being off then it being a bad matchup.
