With 13 games yesterday, the scores were up and you had tons of choices in Daily Fantasy Basketball to put together a successful team. With a ton of huge performances, a few really managed to stand out.
Daily Fantasy Basketball Top Performers
Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Serge Ibaka, and Kevin Durant all managed to go over 40 FanDuel fantasy points tonight for the OKC Thunder. You could have fit all 4 in your lineup and thrown up over 170 pts just from them!! While Kevin Durant still didn’t have a great shooting night vs the Suns, he got to the line 10 times and put up 30 pts and 6 rebounds.
Surprise performances of the night came from a couple of different teams. A couple of these guys you aren’t going to be counting on every night, but Evan Turner is quickly becoming a nice option on a Philly team that is looking for some consistent scoring.
Speaking of Turner he put up 26pts, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists in 36 minutes vs Boston last night. The former #2 pick has been freed up from his bench role and is really producing.
Marreese Speights had his one Daily Fantasy Basketball performance of the month where he puts everything together, as he scored 18 with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Unfortunately there is no consistency to his game and Zeebo should be back this week for the Grizz.
Surprise line of the night however had to belong to Trevor Booker on the WAS Wizards. In an off night for John Wall he put up 18pts and 17 boards, as he outhustled both the Lakers big men.
Daily Fantasy Basketball Duds
For the 2nd night in a row in Daily Fantasy Basketball, a PG managed to throw up and absolute stinker of a game vs the Lakers. John Wall who had been on a heater after the All-Star break threw up a gigantic dud of a game. Daily Fantasy fans that selected him expecting 30+ pts vs the slow poor defense of Lakers PG’s were not happy with his 12 FanDuel pts.
The entire Celtic’s team can be included in this lineup, as they were blown out last night in Philly and only managed to score 72 points total on the night. Rondo who had been red hot coming off the All-Star break was held to 5pts and 8 assists, and Paul Pierce only managed to score 21 FanDuel pts.
The other really surprising Dud last night had to be Andrew Bynum. Versus a Wizards defense that was 29th in the league vs Centers he managed to put up 19pts with only 6 boards, but had 7 turnovers on the night and was out-hustled all night by an inspired Wizards team. Coming off a monster game the night before, we expected Bynum to easily top 30 fantasy points and have a shot at 40 in a good matchup.
