Daily Fantasy Sports Studs
Yesterday was the day of the PG in Daily Fantasy Sports, as Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo, and Derrick Rose, and all went off for 40+ points. Deron Williams however was on another level, putting up a ridiculous 57pts and scoring 69 fantasy pts on FanDuel scoring. People may have laid off selecting him yesterday thanks to news breaking that his calf injury was still bothering him, those of you that grabbed him had a very easy day yesterday likely.
On any other day Rondo would have been the story, and the ridiculous thing is his stat line should have been even more impressive then the 18pts, 17 rebounds, and 20 assists he had. He went 7/20 from the field and missed multiple layups, he should have easily had over 30pts vs the extremely soft defense of Jeremy Lin/Baron Davis.
Daily Fantasy Sports Oddball of the Day
Oddball performance of the day has to go to Ron Artest(Disclosure, I’m a huge Lakers fan and refuse to call him MWP. He’s Ron Artest this name change is retarded) who put up 36pts at FanDuel yesterday with a throwback game. He looked like the Artest of old, not the bumbling, slow, retarded player he’s become over the last couple seasons for the Lakers. Andrew Bynum, and Kobe Bryant also put up big numbers yesterday vs the Heat, although with Kobe’s price you probably weren’t very happy that he only managed to score 34 on FanDuel.
Daily Fantasy Sports Strategy
Now for something I’ve seen quite a bit in my match-ups the last week or so, and I think it’s a fairly significant mistake. At this point, while LBJ has put up amazing numbers over the last week, I feel like sites have priced him outside of the point where you should be drafting him. At 24k on DraftStreet, almost 20k on DraftDay, and 236k on DailyJoust he’s just not worth what you’re paying. For example on DraftDay if you’re doing a good job of drafting Lebron would have to average 55-60 fantasy pts to be worth the 2 players you could draft with his salary.
