Big night for our Daily Fantasy Rankings in the NBA with 12 games for a mega-Friday schedule. Nothing like a Friday the 13th to make for some fun Gamboooooolin opportunities. In particular I’m looking forward to the DEN v LAL game, the MIA v CHA game, and SAC v OKC. All 3 of those are above average Daily Fantasy Basketball matchups and should provide a ton of scoring.
Top Daily Fantasy Rankings Plays
Gonna keep this short and sweet, there are a couple matchups that I’m really looking forward to tonight.
- Andrew Bynum: Kobe is supposed to be a GTD tonight, and while he’s capable of gutting through pain and playing through just about anything, even if he comes back tonight I’m not expecting him to play overly heavy minutes. This means more opportunity for Bynum, and Denver has absolutely no one capable of matching up with the young giant inside.
- Russell Westbrook: Coming off a subpar performance vs the Clips, I expect Westbrook to try and punish the awful defense of the Kings tonight. In their one previous matchup, Westbrook torched the Kings for 33 points and 6 rebounds. While Isaiah Thomas is better then expected defensively for an undersized PG, he’s no match for someone with Westbrook’s size and speed(Nobody outside of maybe Lebron in the NBA is).
Daily Fantasy Rankings Players to Avoid
- Lester Hudson: Hudson has been a revelation since being called up from the D-League to fill in for Kyrie Irving, but his price has been adjusted on most sites(FanDuel being the exception) and vs the Pacers tonight I don’t think he’s worth playing. Indiana is giving up the 7th fewest PPG to point guards after the All-Star break, and Hudson needs to score to realize his value.
- Ryan Anderson: Really this could be for any Orlando Player when playing the Hawks, as they’ve been offensively challenged in every game this season (Only averaging 80ppg in 2 previous)vs them. With no Howard in the lineup, Anderson isn’t near as effective an option, he just doesn’t get the clean looks he’s used to, and is forced to play inside more which limits his opportunities. Flat out Atlanta owns the Magic, and I would avoid any and all Magic players in this matchup.
